Passionate fans of Ariana Grande are urging that a person who jumped a barricade and grabbed the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being escorted out of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was due to appear on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Grande's Well-being

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded digital services to remove Mr Wen's content.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of supporters had gathered in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore venue, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-film interpretation of the acclaimed Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the unexpected friendship between two very different witches.

The show itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and scored ten Academy Award nods, earning two for best costume and artistic direction.
