In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the official announcement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and terrifying changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an special katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
